Přemýšlíte nad vlastním podnikání a nevíte kde začít? Chtěli byste najít nápad a vystavět vlastní start-up? Myslíte si, že váš nápad je skvělý, ale ještě jste o něm nikomu pořádně neřekli? A v neposlední řadě - chcete své budoucí podnikání spojit s jídlem?

Pro koho je akce určena?

  • pro start-up, který chce zpětnou vazbu

Nemusíte mít vlastní nápad! Připravili jsme pro vás akci tak, abyste mohli potkat svůj nový tým, najít problém, který chcete řešit a pak už je jenom krok k nápadu, jak problém vyřešit.

Přesto vám není jasné, jak vypadá inovace v potravinářství a zemědělství? Zde je pár tipů:

UDRŽITELNOST: Vadí vám plastová brčka nebo plastové nákupní tašky, bojíte se, že naše planeta se s tolika plasty nevyrovná? V EIT Food Hubu jsme měli startup Saaczech - alternativa plastových tašek splňující kritéria cirkulární ekonomiky.

ZDRAVÉ POTRAVINY: Máte speciální požadavky na stravování, alergie nebo jenom vám něco nechutná? V EIT Food Hubu jsme měli startup Terraz - těstoviny budoucnosti z cvrčků plné proteinů, železa a aminokyselin.

SDÍLENÍ INFORMACÍ: Chtěli byste vědět, jestli jsou vajíčka z chovu, kde slepice netrpí? Nebo kde je jídlo zdarma? V EIT Food Hubu jsme měli startup Sousedova zahrada - tržiště, kde si můžete koupit nebo nabídnou přebytky čerstvého ovoce a zeleninu ze sousedovy zahrady.

TRANSPARENTNOST: Je pro vás důležité, kdo je vývozce potravin? Jestli je koktejl cuba-libre namíchán z pravého rumu? Jestli jsou slevy opravdu slevy? V EIT Food Hubu jsme také měli nápad od Milieu, společnosti MECHSOFT s.r.o. - nástroj na inteligentní systém sběru dat pro maximalizování výnosu rostlin

CIRKULÁRNÍ EKONOMIKA: Vadí vám, že restaurace vyhazují jídlo, když by se s ním dalo naložit jinak? Chtěli byste, aby restaurace nakupovaly na farmářských trzích? V EIT Food Hubu jsme takový nápad neměli, ale může být třeba VÁŠ!

Training on analytical approaches for food safety, authenticity and quality assessment

Department of Food Analysis and Nutrition, UCT Prague, organizes on 11-13 Septemer 2019 event finnacially supported by EIT Food entitled „Training on analytical approaches for food safety, authenticity and quality assessment“.

Aim of the event is to provide an opportunity to PhD students of the University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague to be trained in advanced analytical strategies applied for food safety, authenticity and quality assessment. Various case studies will be presented, including analytical methods development, data evaluation, QA/QC, … Participants will have an opportunity to meet up with the experts and learn more from other young colleagues in order to network and discuss on their current and future research activities. They will also be informed about activities of EIT Food aimed at supporting students and entrepreneurial talents.

Summer workshop on New Product Development, dedicated to professionals and PhD students working with food sectors will be held in Warsaw (Poland), during the first week of September: 02.09 - 06.09.2019.

Summer School on NPD offers:

  • 5 days of interactive workshops, lectures, project assignments and computer-based simulations, prepared jointly by partners from academia and the industry
  • Extensive knowledge from different countries and backgrounds
  • No tuition fees
  • Certificate

The course aims to encourage the development of pioneering product ideas in the food industry. Unlike typical courses, this will not only include lectures, but mainly interactive workshops, engaging project assignments and computer-based simulations, prepared jointly by partners from academia and industry. It is aimed at teaching tools and techniques developed to support NPD and giving opportunities to gain insight from real NPD successes and failures.

EIT Food RIS Venturing School to be held from 23rd to 29th of May 2019 in Olsztyn, Poland

The main aim of this 7-day training managed by professional tutors will introduce participants to several topics such as: innovations in food sector, human nutrition in food systems, food and digital disruptions, as well as business model generation and presentation pitching. Participants will work in interdisciplinary teams, identifying problems, prototyping viable solutions with a validated value proposition and pitching their projects in front of a panel of experts.

Our meeting is organized by Matis (Iceland), University of Cambridge (England), VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland and Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research PAS (Poland).

All undergraduate, graduate, PhD students, post-docs, early-stage researchers and young professionals, who are working/studying in one of the RIS regions*, aged at least 18, are welcome to apply for the EIT Food RIS Venturing School. There is no precondition concerning study background.

Do you have an idea that could transform the agriculture, fisheries and food sector? Apply for an Innovation Prize, there is a €10,000 and €5000 prize available for participants established in Czech Republic!

Phase 1: Apply!

Phase 2: EIT Food Demo Day

  • Live finals  where 10 start-ups with the highest scores will pitch and compete for the €10,000 and €5000 prize. Apart from that, participants will learn about how to make a successful business plan, how to impress an investor, what are the public-funding opportunities for start-ups and see an inspiring success story!

SEEDBED programme will support aspiring entrepreneurs to determine whether there is a market for products or services that utilise innovative agri-food technologies.

Entrepreneurs will receive:

  • training at a 4-day residential bootcamp (in June/July) based on unique customer-oriented methodology, supporting the development of a startup business model
  • reimbursement of travel costs to go out and speak to potential customers
  • an invitation to a final event where you will pitch your validated business idea to a panel of industry experts
  • mentorship by leading agri-food sector players with specialised knowledge and skills to develop food sector innovation
  • the opportunity to win equity-free cash prizes (up to €20,000)

The EIT Food Seedbed Pre-Accelerator Programme are looking for teams that:

  • are composed of at least two members
  • are developing an innovation set to make a big impact on any part of the food sector including the way we produce, deliver, consume and recycle our food
  • have not previously been awarded significant funding to support market validation of your idea or innovation
  • from anywhere in the world (but: we expect active, consistent engagement in the program - this requires physical presence from the team members at one of our bootcamp locations and final pitch event)

Opportunity for MSc students and graduates as well as PhD students and post-docs to discover the food industry, by getting unique, professional, paid, 3-6 months internships. 

EIT Food RIS Fellowships project is divided into two complementary components:

RIS Fellowships dedicated to MSc students, graduates and young entrepreneurs: They will have the opportunity to apply academic knowledge in practical context of work to spur a weave of entrepreneurial innovations in their home countries. RIS Fellowships interns will be engaged in learning-by-doing activities (internal projects and tasks) carried out by each host companies. RIS Fellowships interns will be provided with 1350 € scholarship/per month; 

RIS Talents dedicated to doctoral students and young postdocs representing scientific disciplines other than food science from EIT RIS countries. They will benefit from lessons learned in their own academic research and will also be encouraged to engage in industrial collaboration or entrepreneurship. RIS Talents interns will be participated in innovation projects of EIT Food as well as R&D projects by becoming involved in dedicated internships in the EIT Food partner organizations. RIS Talents interns will be provided with 2000 € scholarship/per month.
